Episode 002: The One with All the Stash

Second episode! I talk a bit about my last couple of weeks and introduce some of members in the Ravelry Group (those that replied in the Introductions thread). 

The Knitting - 6:00

• I showcase my older finished objects - Cozy Posy Ear Warmer Headband by Heather Turpin and Mira's Cowl by Mira Cole
• I'm currently working on Thea Colman's Egg Nog in Knit Picks Swish Worsted (Dove Heather), Kelly McClure's Sockhead Hat (for the "It's OK to be Different" KAL from Fibretown podcast) in Manos del Uruguay Alegria (Colibri) and the Twinkle Twinkle Baby Blanket by Helen Stewart in Malabrigo Yarn Sock (Cordovan). I have not worked on my Hitchhiker (Martina Behm, Leading Men Fiber Arts Show Stopper No Good Deed) since the last episode aired.
• I will soon be casting on Salted by Alicia Plummer (see Ravelry group for discussion on which yarn I should use), the Hourglass Throw by Anne Hanson and the Game of Thrones Mystery KAL by Kristen Ashbaugh-Helmreich.

Episode 001: The One with All the Firsts

First episode! I take a lengthy amount of time to introduce myself, my knitting journey and give a bit of a weekly update. The Knitting - 14:50 Because this is a new podcast, I have no finished objects to share.  I'm currently working on (in some sort of a rotation) Martina Behm's Hitchhiker, Thea Colman's Egg Nog and finally, for the Autism Awareness "It's OK to be different" KAL hosted by Emily from Fibretown podcast, I'm working on a Sockhead Hat by Kelly McClure. New Beginnings

Hello everybody and welcome to the blog for the Jessie Knits Podcast! This blog is where I'll be posting and sharing all of the episodes so stay tuned.

What can you expect from Jessie Knits? We'll have the traditional bits included in many knitting podcasts such as weekly recap/chatter, FOs, WIPs and future plans. There will also be some enabling/stash enhancing and I'm going to talk each episode about the books I'm reading as I'm a long time book lover.
